Everything in this course has been built to be used once for real. The capstone is that use: one real opportunity from your pipeline, taken from shortlist to a draft your signer would approve, with every stage done properly and logged. At the end you will have a submitted-quality draft, a record of how long each stage took, and a brain that is better than it was at the start, because the capstone feeds what you learn back into it.
Budget three weeks of elapsed time and roughly ten to fifteen hours of work for a mid-sized foundation proposal, less for an LOI. Those are planning figures for the exercise, not a promise about any particular funder’s application.
