About This Grant
The DEQ Site-Specific Assessments of Brownfields program provides free environmental site assessments (including Phase I ESAs) to public entities and non-profit organizations that are not responsible for site contamination. The service, funded by EPA, generates detailed information on environmental conditions, provides cleanup recommendations and cost estimates, and helps remove environmental stigma to promote redevelopment or property transfer.
