State Highway Trust Fund Bicycle Bill

This is a continuous funding program mandated by Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) 366.514, commonly known as the Bicycle Bill. It requires all agencies receiving State Highway Funds to spend at least 1% of those funds on bicycle and/or pedestrian infrastructure improvements. The funds are allocated to ODOT regions and administered through programs like the Sidewalk Improvement Program (SWIP) for projects along state highways.
