About This Grant
The ONE RED Biochar Program provides financial incentives to establish biochar processing facilities in Nebraska that convert woody organic waste into biochar. The incentives cover a percentage of costs for material handling equipment, pyrolysis units, wiring, installation, and utility upgrades. The program will reimburse 80% of project costs (minus revenue streams) and is capped at $800,000 per entity (excluding the City of Lincoln project).
