Motor Sports Racing Trust Fund

The Motor Sports Racing Trust Fund is a state incentive program that assists Texas municipalities and counties with the costs of hosting a major motor sports racing event. The fund is capitalized by depositing the incremental increase in state and local tax receipts (sales/use, auto rental, hotel, alcoholic beverage taxes) generated by the event into a dedicated trust fund to cover allowable event-related expenses.
