About This Grant
The Nutrition Services Incentive Program (NSIP) is a federal program administered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) that supplements funding for food used in meals served under the Older Americans Act. It provides incentives through additional funding (approximately $0.72 per meal as of 2015) to Area Agencies on Aging and service providers to efficiently and effectively deliver nutritious congregate and home-delivered meals to older individuals.
