District Operated Transportation Expenditures State Aid Program

This is a New York State Aid program administered by the State Aid Office of the New York State Education Department (NYSED). It provides financial assistance to New York school districts to cover approved expenditures for transportation services operated directly by the district. Aidable costs include supplies, materials, equipment, salaries, benefits, and bus purchases, subject to various deductions for non-allowable purposes (e.g., field trips, nonallowable pupils) and revenues received.
