Subscribe to your deadlines in your calendar

Get an ICS feed of your pipeline deadlines into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, so funding dates sit alongside everything else.

Your pipeline can produce a calendar subscribe URL — an ICS feed of the deadlines on everything you have saved. Subscribe once and funding dates appear in the calendar you already live in, updating as your pipeline changes.

Getting the URL

Ask for your pipeline with the calendar included. You get back a subscribe URL alongside the usual pipeline view.

The URL is not requested by default, deliberately — see the security note below.

Subscribing

Google Calendar — Other calendars → From URL → paste → Add calendar.

Apple Calendar — File → New Calendar Subscription → paste → Subscribe. Set auto-refresh to daily or better.

Outlook — Add calendar → Subscribe from web → paste → name it → Import.

All three poll on their own schedule, so a newly saved grant may take a few hours to appear. That is the calendar client’s behavior, not a sync failure.

What is in the feed

Deadlines for saved grants and contracts, with the opportunity title. It follows your pipeline — save something new and it shows up; mark something declined and it stops cluttering your calendar.

Treat the URL as a secret

The subscribe URL is a private capability link. Anyone who has it can read the titles and dates of everything in your pipeline, without logging in. That is how calendar subscriptions work everywhere — the URL is the authentication.

So: do not paste it into a shared doc, a ticket, a group chat, or a screenshot.

If it does leak, you can rotate it — which revokes the old URL and mints a fresh one. See Keep your calendar link private.
