About This Grant
VOCA authorizes the Office for Victims of Crime to make an annual formula grant from the Crime Victims Fund to each state and eligible territory to provide assistance to victims of crime. State Administering Agencies use the money to fund eligible crime victim assistance programs, which may include faith-based and neighborhood programs, and must give at least 10% each to programs serving victims of sexual assault, spousal abuse and child abuse and 10% to underserved victims of violent crime....
