About This Grant
The Tourism Incentive Grant Program provides grant funding to eligible entities (local government, non-profits, for-profits, and convention center authorities) to attract new, out-of-state events to Illinois or retain existing business when competing with other states. The primary objective is to increase visitation and overnight stays in Illinois. Grant funds cannot be used if multiple Illinois destinations are competing for the same event.
