About This Grant
Title III subgrants support the efforts of Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to assist English Learners (ELs) to learn English and meet challenging State academic standards. Funds are used to develop, implement, expand, or enhance language instruction educational programs and academic content instructional programs for ELs and immigrant children and youth, and to promote system-wide restructuring and reform related to their education.
