Payment Extension & Deferred Payment Plan

Charles County offers qualifying water and sewer customers either a one-week payment extension or a deferred payment plan to avoid water disconnection when they need extra time to pay their bill. A payment extension extends the disconnect date by one week. A deferred payment plan allows scheduled payments to be received up to one week prior to the next quarterly bill.
