HealthySteps adds a child development specialist to a child's pediatric care team to support healthy growth and development for children from birth through age three. The program provides developmental screenings, parenting resources, breastfeeding support, mental health and stress management support, and connections to community resources such as housing and transportation assistance for Maryland Medicaid families with children under age four.
