Local Hazard Mitigation Plans Program
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) will distribute $25 million in grants for the Local Hazard Mitigation Plans Program (LHMPP) to eligible communities recovering from Hurricane Harvey (DR-4332, August 2017) or the catastrophic floods in 2015 (DR-4223, May 29, 2015; DR-4245, November 25, 2015) and 2016 (DR-4272, June 11, 2016; DR-4269, April 25, 2016; DR-4266, March 19, 2016). The program assists local governments in developing hazard mitigation plans. applications due June 30, 2027.
