Local Bridge Program (LBP)

ARDOT's Local Bridge Program funds improvements or replacement of bridges located on public roads that are off the Federal-aid Highway System ("Off-System bridges"). A Local Public Agency (LPA) must submit a funding request letter to the ARDOT Director, including the bridge's structure number (if available) and a description of the location. Eligible projects must be on a route off the Federal-aid Highway System, listed on the National Bridge Inventory, and owned by a county, town, township,...
