Guaranteed Ride Home

Provides registered commuters who regularly carpool, vanpool, bike, walk, or take transit to work with a free ride home in case of unexpected personal emergencies or unscheduled overtime, up to 6 times per year. The ride home can be by taxi, rental car, bus, or train. Registration is free. The program is available statewide in Maryland, with Frederick County offering its own local administration of the program through Frederick County Transit Services. Assistance type: subsidy.
