About This Grant
The Edward Mallinckrodt, Jr. Foundation Grant Program supports tenure-track faculty in their first to fourth year at U.S. institutions, holding MD and/or PhD degrees, who do not currently hold a substantial independent research award (such as an NIH R01 or equivalent). Beginning in 2023, the grant provides $75,000 annually for up to three years (non-renewable) to help early-career scientists establish their research programs.
