About This Grant
A property tax credit for volunteer firefighters in Dorchester County. Eligible members of a bona fide Dorchester County Volunteer Fire Company (VFC) can apply annually for a credit against their county property taxes. The credit is $500 per qualifying member, or $1,000 if two or more qualifying members own the dwelling. Assistance type: tax credit.
