Montgomery County's Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) offers rebates and hands-on training to help residents, landscapers, and contractors transition to electric (battery-powered) leaf blowers and related equipment. Landscapers based in Montgomery County can receive a rebate voucher of up to $1,000 toward the purchase of eligible electric leaf blowers, batteries, or chargers at approved local dealers.
