The Clean Air Grant Program provides funding to repower, retrofit, or replace old heavy-duty diesel off-road equipment in Placer County. Eligible equipment must have baseline and replacement engines rated at 25 horsepower or greater (20 horsepower or greater for agricultural tractors if replacing with zero-emission engines), with replacement engines meeting Tier 4 Final or cleaner standards.
