About This Grant
The Carroll County Agricultural Land Preservation Program pays landowners who voluntarily place a permanent conservation easement on their property to protect productive agricultural land from non-agricultural development. Landowners retire the non-agricultural development potential of their land while retaining fee simple title and continuing to farm.
