California State Nonprofit Security Grant Program (CSNSGP)

California's State Nonprofit Security Grant Program, run by Cal OES with state General Fund money, pays for security for nonprofits at high risk for violent attacks and hate crimes because of ideology, beliefs or mission. California 501(c)(3)s apply, and churches, mosques and synagogues need no IRS letter.
