Black Community Fund

The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation administers grants driven by donor-directed funds as well as competitive grants on behalf of external foundations. The Foundation has granted more than $7 billion to nonprofit organizations in Kansas City and beyond throughout its history. Donors include individuals, families, and companies that direct grants to organizations and causes important to them. The Foundation is transitioning to new grant application software in Summer 2025.
