Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Grants - Application Process (Letters of Inquiry)

The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation makes grants through its various grantmaking programs to support original research and educational initiatives with high expected returns to society and methodological rigor. Applicants must first identify a relevant program, then submit a Letter of Inquiry to the appropriate program director; promising inquiries are invited to submit a formal grant proposal. The Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals.
