Strategic Growth Council

Strategic Growth Council is a grantmaking organization tracked in the OpenGrants funding database. It currently lists 7 open funding opportunities in areas including Community Development, Environment, Social Services, with programs serving Lead Applicant must be based in California. The Planning Area, inclusive of a proposed CRC Facility and the related planning activities, and the impacted community around the proposed CRC Site must be located in California. Tribal projects may have modifications. (See Section 3.3: Eligible Planning and Project Areas of the CRC R2 Guidelines.), Lead Applicant must be based in California. The Project Area, inclusive of a proposed CRC Facility, Campus Amenities, Partner Sites, and any programs and services based out of the CRC facility or Partner Sites must be located in California. Tribal projects may have modifications. (See Section 3.3: Eligible Planning and Project Areas of the CRC R2 Guidelines.), Project Areas must be designated as disadvantaged communities per the TCC Guidelines. The Guidelines contain multiple options for establishing Project Area eligibility. Project Areas for Implementation Grants may be up to 15 continuous square miles in rural areas and 5 continuous square miles in urban areas. See Section 3.3, Project Area Eligibility, of the Guidelines for more information on Project Area requirements.. Current programs include “Tribal Housing Pre-Development Fund” and “Tribal Capacity Building Program”.
