OpenGrants state grants portal

Florida State Grants Portal

Every grant and loan program that Florida's state agencies, commissions, districts and state-created corporations offer to local governments, nonprofits, businesses, schools, tribes and individuals — the money, who qualifies, the catch, and the next window — in one place, refreshed daily from the OpenGrants database.

How to use this page

  • This is Florida's own money. Programs here are administered by a Florida state agency, board, commission, water management district or state-created corporation — including federal dollars the state passes through. Federal direct programs and private foundations open to Floridians are listed at the end of this page, under Beyond state agencies.
  • Programs and listings are different things. A program card is the recurring opportunity (its rules, cycle and catch); a listing is one cycle's posting, tracked live in the OpenGrants database. When a card has no open listing, the next window is projected from its cycle and labeled as such.
  • Everything here is exportable. Download the CSV or JSON, or read the CommonGrants API — every record follows the open CommonGrants protocol, so you can move this data into your own tools.

What's included: Grants, loans, tax credits and rebates offered by a Florida state entity to outside applicants, whether funded by state appropriations, federal pass-through or trust funds; recurring programs with no current listing are kept with a projected window. What's left out: Federal programs applied for directly from a federal agency, private and community foundations, local-government programs, and state purchasing contracts (those are on OpenGrants Contracts).

Questions

Does Florida have an official statewide grants portal?

No single statewide catalog of state-offered grant opportunities exists today; each agency publishes its own programs. This page assembles them from the agencies' official pages and the OpenGrants database and keeps them refreshed.

Where does the data come from?

Each program card is verified against the administering agency's official page (the date is shown on the card) and bound to its listing in the OpenGrants database, which refreshes deadlines and status daily. Open listings from Florida agencies that have no card yet appear automatically from the database.

Can I export this data?

Yes. Every program and live listing is published as a CommonGrants (v0.5.0) opportunity record: download commongrants.json or opportunities.csv from the Open data section, or read the API at /grants-in-florida/common-grants/opportunities. No key is needed.
